I am busy painting my life away in my studio for my upcoming show. Would you like to come and see it?
This new series is made up of a number of figurative paintings all made this year, fresh right out of my brain! Colourful, energetic bodies in abstracted landscapes are featured in this exhibition. Some of the paintings are very large and the biggest is four by six feet. Every canvas is reused as I am a hippie and try to maintain environmentalism in my practice. There is a distinct freshness in the series that I have never before created. It is without a doubt my best work to date and I hope to see you at the opening!
The show is on May 4th-29th 2010 at the Leighdon Studio Gallery at 190 3rd Avenue Vancouver. The opening is May 7th 6 PM- 8 PM, be there or be square!!
